By "Hinge clip" are you referring to the split plastic tube that slips over the hinge pin? __________________ '04 VRSCB, SERF, Amsoil Hi-flo air filter & oil, Drilled Exhaust, Arlen Ness Mirrors, relocated Signals, Sundowner seat, Sport wind deflector, Tiger Racing belt guards, Pondo's pivot bolt covers and 'V' valve stem caps, Tyson's black riser and foot levers, Metzler ME 880's, black 5 spoke '08D wheels and rear pulley, Mini LED rear signals, Progressive front springs and Black 440 shocks, Jeannie Guardian Bell!(so far!) Then cut the small section long ways "straight" and "VIOLA", you'll probably get 6-8 of them for the $1.00 price of that 1ft hose. Maybe something in the translation! Made a mistake: last two digits are listed on jerseyh-d.com as 82 Last edited by G4CE; 01-22-2012 at 08:02 PM. If it was a new seat they come with a new sleeve. __________________

I replaced this part with a piece of nylon reinforced tygon tubing cut to resemble the 52041-82 part, as K-wrench mentioned previously, and this worked fine until I read a post here that suggested just throwing it away. This sleeve on the seat hinge is like adding a belt to pants with suspenders. The lanyard is also not needed and these things just make removing the seat a PITA. I've since removed both parts and haven't missed these for more than 2 years. | | | Sponsored Links | Advertisement
