| Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: orange county, ca Posts: 9 Rep Power: 0 | I had to make a soft top bow out of conduit and just put bolts in the holes for the hinge. Then but the conduit to match the appropriate angle. The conduit would sit on the body work and couldn't move fore or aft because the bolt was left sticking up a ways. I put teflon tape on the threads so that it would stay put. Quite a bit of tape. Worked really well and save me a fair amount of money. The hinges prob aren't pricey but the bows are. Used the rear hole of the two, it's in approximately the same place that the bow sets when in the hinge. |
