Blank thought for a moment and then said, “No. I quite like them as a garden-” and passed back through the portal again- which closed behind her- and went on her way – as the wall face said to her as she departed- “thanks for the flowers anyway..” Blank decided to make balloons out of twigs. She went collecting in the mountain, and found a perfect spot to put her twigs together, in a clearing between trees. She stitched and wove the tiny brittle pieces of wood together, with great patience, and with great sensitivity to what the twigs wanted to have done with them, and to where they wanted to go to form the balloons. It took many days, but Blank was committed, and eventually, she had a large collection of fine, wooden balloons. So, she packed them up in a big bag she had made from fir boughs, and found a place where the wind blew strong, high on the mountain. She opened her bag, and took out the collapsed balloons, and placed them on the ground, a short distance
